After a 14 month search The Pulse Consultancy can finally confirm its new trading name and new UK registered trade mark as Quantos.

"Following advice from UK trademark specialists Walker Morris we realised that we wouldn't be able to secure a UK trademark clearance to use Pulse and without we didn't want to invest too much time establishing an alternative that wouldn't last the duration.

The name Quantos comes from the route Latin 'quanta' or 'quantum' and basically means quantity or, more colloquially, 'how much' - a good question to ask in all aspects of sales, marketing and business development consulting.

The whole area of Quantum Physics and Quantum Management Theory also offers some very interesting and relevant insights into the latest understanding of such apparently diverse subjects as the nature, structure and fabric of space, time and matter (quantum physics), creating self-learning, dynamic organisations (quantum management theory) and creative / lateral thinking for designers, ad agencies and anyone involved in the idea generation businesses (quantum thinking). Arguably it is a combination of all these that is the essence of the Quantos proposition and the reason we think its a great name.
